Gender Party for Baby Kendall

We invited our closest family & friends to join us in College Station, Texas (the city we fell in love in and the home of our dear Texas A&M) at the Benjamin Knox Gallery. We asked everyone, including us!, to wear the color representing what they thought Baby Kendall would
be! We had wonderful food (including pink & blue cheese! Who knew!!) and loved spending time with everyone before we made the trip back to Michigan. We had a sign-in sheet where everyone guessed baby's arrival date, height & weight, color of hair, & color of eyes; there was also a trivia game set out, and the prizes were Kendall-Jackson wine and Bankhead chocolates! There was a table set out for some of mine and Brian's old baby things, little outfits of ours (an outfit from Germany from his Granny & Papa and the outfit I came home from the hospital in), our favorite books from childhood, blankets, and our baby books (our Moms bought the same ones!). Everything was pink and blue; Mom and I had such a fun time decorating and getting all the food together for the evening. The tall centerpiece behind the cake was created custom by her (isn't she talented?? :)) and of course the cake was the main event of the evening! At this point only the doctor and the bakery knew what color was inside that cake!

The rest of the story can be told best in pictures & a video:)

Oh... and It's a BABY BOY! :)
